Argyll Real Estate
Located on the south side of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Argyll is a residential area that sits between the two branches of the Mill Creek Ravine. The ravine forms the border of both the west and north east sides and Argyll Road forms the south and south eastern boundaries.
Almost 93% of the neighbourhood’s housing was built between the end of World War II and 1970 with single family homes being the preferred property choice. That preference continues to the present day and 83% of those homes are occupied by their owners.
Argyll borders the Coronet Addition Industrial area and in spite of this the household income is close to the Edmonton City average. The area is home to the Argyll Sports Center, the Edmonton BMX Track and the Argyll Velodrome. The Velodrome was constructed in 1977 by the city of Edmonton for the competitive cycling venue of the 1978 Commonwealth Games. It is one out of twenty five in current use within North America.
