Prices managed to go up by a small amount in March enen though the number of homes sold went down when compared to March of last year.

In the Single family home market, prices were up by 1.48% even though sales were down by 4.5% when compared to last March. The average price for a house was $438,880 while the median price was $412,500. It took on average 41 days for a house to sell in March. The amount of listings went up to 1,883 compared to 1,553 at this time last year, so buyers have more choice and can take their time when looking for a house. 

For condos, prices were up by 1.2% when compared to March of 2014. The average price of a condo was $249,841 and the median price was $235,000. It took an average of 48 days to sell a condo in Edmonton…
