A residential neighborhood located in the north central part of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Eastwood began development in 1906 and boasts being one of the older neighbourhoods in the City of Edmonton. While a portion of the neighbourhood lies south of 122 Avenue, the majority of Eastwood is south of 122 Avenue. The part of the neighbourhood to the south off 122 Avenue is bordered by 89 Street on the west, and 118 Avenue to the south. Parts of Fort Road and the CN Rail right of way make up the eastern boundary. The portion of Eastwood that is located north of 122 Avenue in flanked to the north by the Yellowhead Trail corridor, 86 Street borders the west, and the east is bound by 82 Street.
The Coliseum LRT station, located at the eastern end of the neighbourhood, provides access to the downtown area, Commonwealth Stadium, and the University of Alberta.
The majority of the residences in the area were constructed after World War II. A high percentage of the apartments, single-family dwellings, and duplexes are rented. There are also a small number of row houses located in the area.
