Fraser Real Estate
Located in the north eastern part of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Fraser is in the Clareview area. It is named for John Fraser, one of the original homesteaders in the area and one of the original trustees of Belmont School. An elementary school and community hall in the neighbourhood also bear his name.
The western border is the Victoria Trail. 153rd Avenue NW is to the north, the North Saskatchewan River along with 6th Street NW follows the eastern edge and 144th Avenue NW is to the south.
Over 62% of the homes were built during the 1980s. Roughly 20% were built during the 1970s and earlier, with the remaining being constructed in the 1990s. The area was considered complete at the end of that decade. Single family homes make up the majority of residences, over 59%. This is followed by apartments in low rise buildings with less than five stories at 15% and row houses and duplexes each at 13%. 77% of residences are owner occupied.
Fraser Elementary School, part of the Edmonton Public School System is near Fraser Park. Kids are welcome at Kids are Special at Fraser Daycare & Out of School Care services, also in the area. The closest shopping mall is Clareview Village Shopping Centre to the south.
