Located in south east Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, the Kenilworth neighbourhood is just to the north of Whyte Avenue. Its western border is 75th Street, the north is 90th Avenue and to the east is 50th Street.

The majority of the construction took place in the 1960s when 77% of the residential housing was completed. The remainder was, for the most part, completed between the end of World War II and 1960. The single family home makes up more than 77% of the residential offerings, followed by duplexes at 12%. Apartments in low rise buildings of less than five stories make up the remainder. Almost 82% of the residences are owner occupied.

Three schools service the area, the public Waverly Elementary and Kenilworth Junior High as well as the private Ecole Jeanne D’Arc. The Bonnie Doon Shopping Centre is just to the west via Whyte Avenue. Past the shopping centre are Old Strathcona, the Blue Mile and the University of Alberta. The neighbourhood has its own Kenilworth Arena, home to local hockey leagues and those who just like to ice skate.
