Located in south east Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, the residential neighbourhood of Larkspur is part of The Meadows area east of Mill Woods. Larkspur includes the Meadowbrook retail area at its south west corner, as well as an even larger retail development on the eastern end.
The western boundary is 34th Street, the eastern 17th Street, the north is framed by Whitemud Drive and 38th Avenue edges the south. The latter two streets curve, giving the area an unusual shape. Kiniski Gardens is to the west and south west, Wild Rose to the south and the Tamarack neighbourhood to the east and south east. The industrial areas of Maple Ridge, South East and Pylypow are also adjacent.
This is a newer neighbourhood and most construction was completed between 1985 and 2005. Almost 88% of the properties are single family homes, the remaining being duplexes. Nearly 98% of the residences are occupied by their owners. The Velma E. Baker School services the area and is near Larkspur Park.
