Mayliewan-Ozerna is in the north eastern part of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The two neighbourhoods are often referred to as one, even though the City of Edmonton formally divides them. The Mayliewan section has a population of 4,069.
Mayliewan-Ozerna is bordered on the east by 66th Street, on the west by 82nd Street on the south by 153rd Avenue and in the north by 167th Avenue. The western half is Mayliewan and the eastern half is Ozerna.. The dividing line is 73rd Street.
Housing in both areas consists mainly of single family homes. Nearly 97% of the dwellings in Mayliewan and 78% of those in Ozerna are so classified. Ozerna has 10% of its housing inventory made up of apartments in buildings of less than five stories and 12% in duplexes. Almost all residences in both areas, nearly 97% are owner occupied.
There is one school in the Mayliewan section, the Catholic St. John Bosco Elementary School. Ozerna has no schools within its borders. The closest shopping mall is Londonderry Mall, reached by taking 66th Street south.
