Prince Rupert Real Estate
Located in the northwest part of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Prince Rupert is a residential neighbourhood developed after the end of World War II. Nestled within the old Hudson’s Bay Reserve, the neighbourhood is bordered to the south by 111 Avenue, the west by 121 Street, and Kingsway Avenue is on the northwest.
Based on the 2001 federal census, 71.2% of the residences in the neighbourhood were constructed between the time of development (after the war) and 1960. During the 1960’s, 8.5% of the dwellings were built, and another 8.5% were constructed in the latter half of the 1990’s. The majority of the more recently built homes are in a new development located near the Kingsway shopping district on the northeast side.
